GerbView ™ allows you to view and print Gerber, ODB++ and Adobe PDF files.

GerbView supports both RS-274D Gerber formats. You can also use it to convert Gerber files from older formats to the new RS-274X extended format. This extended Gerber format includes embedded aperture information. It will make it easier to avoid errors when manufacturing the PCB.

GerbView has a PDF toCAD capability that allows you to convert Adobe PDF files in Gerber or Autodesk to DXF.

Gerbview can visualize your design on the screen and in hardcopy. To see the true design of your circuit board, you don’t need to wait for it to be made. You can check distances, tools, apertures, and other details using the exact measure and query tools.

GerbView can be used to create a workspace. It can contain one or several files from any of the supported file format. You can save the workspace for later use. The workspace you save will link to the design files. All you have to do is reload the workspace file in order to see the entire design.

Markup elements like text, barcodes, arrows, lines, images, ellipses and polygons can be added to the workspace. All markup components can be burn-in and added to a Gerber layers. This feature allows you easily to add text or barcode image to a layer.

GerbView has the ability to rasterize single files as well as entire workspaces. You can then save to one or more of the supported file formats.

You may print scaled or in real size. All Windows-based plotters, printers and scanners are supported. You can print large designs or drawings in poster mode (also known as tiled pages).
